Masterson’s Tavern , nestled in the bustling area of Moonee Ponds , advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my latest trip at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I experienced behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .

From the moment I walked in , it was clear that sanitation was not a priority at this venue. The floors were sticky , and a overpowering stench of decaying beverages and filthy restrooms suffused the entire pub. With a smell of a mixture of ammonia , decay and sour vomit .
